Our dear friends Glen and Lisa met us at the hospital so Hattie and Spencer could see their little brother for the first time. Lisa took pictures while Glen got a work-out lifting the kids to see through the tiny window.

The kids both loved looking at Miles. Hattie kept repeating "Can I pet him?".

The day the kids got to see Miles had already had his nasal cannula removed. By the grace of God his lungs were in great shape. In fact, by the time the doctor and nurses got Miles to the NICU he was ready to come off the ventilator. Later, he had to have the cannula put back in, but only on flow. This was for apnea episodes, not lung function.

We were all glad Dr./Uncle Glen had the ability to write himself a script for pain reliever, if needed the next day. He held Hattie and Spencer while Aunt Lisa got to come inside to take some more pictures.
